On Thursday, many gathered to pay their last respects to rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down in Los Angeles nearly two weeks ago.
Some of the big names, including G-Eazy, Big Sean, Big Boy, James Harden, DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook and Meek Mill, were seen arriving at Staples Center for the memorial, TMZ reports.
During the service, Hussle was remembered through photos as Frank Sinatra’s song “My Way” played. A livestream of the memorial is also available. Watch here.
According to the memorial program, singers Jhené Aiko, Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius are performing at the tribute. The program also included touching letters from Harden, DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, LeBron James and The Game.
A funeral procession will follow after the service, traveling 25 miles through Los Angeles before arriving at Forest Lawn Memorial.
Tickets to the memorial sold out within minutes.
